Charlotte geared up for a barn chores. I'm not the type to play 'dress up' with my dogs. But this little coat has made it through three JRT's and is still getting the job done on the coldest days of the year. It's certainly nice to have Charlotte in the barn for the 2 hour muck out on Saturday morning...this time of year the rodent population is on the rise and she is pretty quick on making sure that they are not going to make it out of winter alive!

I WISH my little rat dog would catch the vermin. He's too fascinated with horse poopcicles to care about a little mouse.
It's made it thru 3 JRTs, wow! Pepper is such a good mouser. She killed two at the same time the other day. The husband was so proud.
That photo is SO adorable!! What a cutie. :)
I've missed your blog - I know things get busy over the holidays, ours was. I love the picture of Charlotte. I am curious about her coat - where did you get it? I got Tully one earlier and it is very warm but it rubs his legs in the front and I like the straps on yours. Just curious.
Thank you for visiting my blog and leaving a comment. It is always nice to find fellow bloggers who don't live too far away. I am following you; I hope you follow me too.
Lovely shot of a beautiful dog. I like her coat.
Hello Sharon!
Charlotte coat is a 'Baker Blanket'. I got it about 12-15 years ago at a trade show in Valley Forge for people in the Horse Tack business. (A friend of mine had a tack store and I went with her one year.) I bought mine at the wholesale price....which back then I think was about $22.
Anyway...I would say that it's a great little coat. I have never had anything repaired or replaced on it and as you well know JRT's can be a little rough!
