Sunset at a Polo Match in Darlington, PA |
|
My entry for
SkyWatch Friday. As Friday in Western PA means
POLO then I thought it only fitting to post an image of the Sun going down and warming up the crowd while they wait for the horses to take the field.

Wow, what a mystical light! -- Whoa, the Canon 18-200mm, f 2.8 lens-- helluva good piece of equipment!!
Do you play polo yourself or someone you know? I think I would enjoy the sport simply for the love of horses. Terrific photo!

wow, gorgeous light!
this photo is pure magic. I love everything about it. most of all the glow, and flare. Polo huh? we don't have that here, but I'd like to watch it. thanks for visiting my blog, I appreciate that very much. I hope you have a wonderful holiday weekend.
Oh this is great! Gorgeous light.
Beautiful sunset and colors of your photo. Never seen polo in real life..
Ebie, LadyFi, Gattina, Grace Olsson, Luna, Samantha...Thanks so much! It's alwyas nice when people admire your work!
Stan...I love that lens...I saved for a couple of years to buy it. I use it 80% of the time. It's how I see...
Jonker, Ms. Becky, Spidermama get yourselves to a polo match. You will have a wonderful time. I've meet the most amazing people and the photography is a real challenge. It's great. Pack yourselves a picnic and go!
Shirley...I do not know anyone who plays. But I love the game...it's pretty easy to follow. And all the people who attend the matches are great. I've made a lot of friends over the last few years. Find a club near you...it's a wonderful day out.
I ove the glow of this, Tami - looks like the fun is about to begin!
love this image!
Love this shot (and also the one of the "color-coordinated" horse and rider from a few posts back).
Polo is such a beautiful sport!
Now how did you do that?! The lighting is spectacular! Thanks for visiting mine! Enjoy the weekend.
Glorious gold and the crowd really adds to the photo -- excellent work!
And interesting as well because I had no idea that polo was so "big" there. (I've never seen a match.)Thanks for sharing.
