Thank you all....this was a photo that was almost missed. I was driving down the road and looking at the beautiful sunset. And these gorgeous white birch trees that had already dropped there leaves. So I stopped and choose a lens and started to walk. And I walked right by these thistle in my big attempt to get to my 'desired photo'. Then on the walk back I looked to the east (opposite of the big orange setting sun) and here was this gorgeous opportunity. The colors were amazing (as you can see).
