After a two week break it's POLO time tonight!!!! Leaving work early to pack up Charlotte Pup Pup and the cooler. Maybe hubby can be convinced to come along too...
I created a Twitter Account but forgot the password. I had to reset it but haven't got around to Tweeting anything. Too busy looking for dead relatives I guess.
The word that came to mind when I saw this shot was 'velvety'. That velvet-soft nose, the soft cheek and neck, the supple leather of the bridle and reins, all lit up by that warm sunlight. Beautiful.
So do you play polo yourself or spectate? Here it's a very 'upper class' sport!
Linda...I do not play. I would like to give it a go someday. I was thinking maybe next year it would be fun to take a vacation at a polo camp. Polo in this country is from middle class to bazilionaire! Darlington I would say it non-rated (I think that is the correct terminology???).
I know a family that used to play and they are local farmers.... Horses were the only off farm activity for them.
I have so enjoyed your blog. Missed you for a couple of months and love following along again. Please accept this "I Love Your Blog" award! To pick it up, stop by http://babayagasmirror.blogspot.com/2009/08/thank-you-for-i-love-this-blog-award.html

Just love the light that you were able to capture in his eye. Again, beautiful shot.
