Saturday I went out to Pearson Park to JeepFest 2009. What's JeepFest you might ask? It's like a Jeep Jamboree. I was under strict orders from Hubby that I was not to participate with our Jeep.....I was going as a spectator only.
It was unfair....but in the end I kept my wheels on the asphalt and just had a little fun with my camera. Meet some great folks and I will be back next year to have a little fun in the mud!

Wow! Mr. J would have loved that. He has a serious obsession with jeeps and has been badgering me to purchase one [apparently he thinks it is perfect for me: i.e. he wants to be able to drive it and do things like encase it in mud and vegetation! :)]. It looks like you had a blast! I love this photo, too. :)
Ahhh, too bad you didn't get to play!
Who has the job of washing that Jeep?
This pic could have turned out such a straight forward "look there's a jeep" photo, but you cropped it perfectly. Playing off road on 4x4 trails is a very popular activity here in South Africa as well.
OOOoooo... I LOVE it... I finally got my Jeep TJ Wrangler back after some costly upgrades and repairs but it's worth it... a good 6" higher than bought as stock... I'm having trouble getting in... LOL.
But yeh, I don't want to put it through the wringer as thick muddin' but a little is always good!
We don't have any great Jamborees as those around our neck of the woods, wish we did!
New England Girl....you SHOULD have a Jeep....BUT he should get his own! LOL!
Firefly...It's really interesting to know that 4X4 off roading is a fun pastime in other countries as well...especially S. Africa.
I took this photo at several different lengths and angles....this was the first one that I renamed in the file. So it was my first pick...but then I kept going back and looking through the others, second guessing. But in the end I knew I could only pick one for this Project of the Day....
I'm glad you liked it!
Michele...of course I thought of all my Jeep owning friends when I was there! Are you guess fishing yet?
That's a great photo of mud!
