Day 10 - Hoofin' It

You know how people take picture of there childrens hands and feet being held by a parent or adult.

Well...I don't have children so I thought I would practice this type of shot on the pony. Scout didn't mind but the Farrier was a little uncomfortable about the camera at first.

Low light handheld shots are challenging. Stopping the motion was tough. Could have cranked up the ISO a little more. I'll try it again the next time the Farrier comes back.

It is a great shot. Love the lighting, sort of soft, late afternoon glow to it. Course little pony feet are so sweet!

Love the yellowish hoof! Very sweet - and so small.

I like it too.

Ha... love the idea (holding 'hands') and the shot. Low light can be a blessing or a curse... just take heaps of shots and one should turn out OK (my answer to pretty much every situation!)

Thanks everyone.....I can not wait to be able to get a lens with a wider aperture. This lens is not sharp on a good day the with an aperture of 5.6 it makes low light tough....

BB....heaps of shots....I'm getting better at that....I must remember that this isn't film and that the delete is just a click away.
