Neas...Yes it's the same Orchid from the previous post. Just the backside....the shy side.

This Orchid lives on a recessed (about 14") window sill in my bedroom....south facing...so the light is very bright but the sun is direct for only a very short time every day.

I mist the leaves with water every day and on Sundays I take the drainage pot out of it's decorative pot and water it really good. Let it drain for an hour then put it back in the decorative pot. And use the kitchen sink trigger spray thingy to really soak the leaves like it's getting rained on.

Spruce...I have not done anything with Macro in a long time. Just starting to again. It's fun!

Margie...Thanks.

I'm clueless. What's a "Macro Monday?"

Tami Weingartner said...

Lulubelle....Macro is a type of photography, basically it's up close. The setting can be tricky cause they have to be within a millimeter not to ruin the shot.

Macro Monday is a meme that if you click on the words macro monday it will take you to the host and you can check out the blogs that are participating this week.

Clear as mud?

Actually....come to think of it....it may not be a 'meme'. Not sure what the correct term is....can someone chime in here?
