Have you read "Horse Heaven" by uhhh.... uhhh... what the heck is her name.... uhh... Jane Smiley. A Jack Russell is a main character, it has to be based on a real dog. Has to. Would you care to offer some Pros and cons of owning a Jack Russell in a future blog?
Leilani.....I luv Horse Heaven....Eileen is the JRT in the that book. When I picked up a copy on the discount rack at B&N and opened it up and read a few of the first pages where Eileen is portrayed in all her JRTness. I was howling. My friend walked over and said what is so funny. I showed her...and she bought it too. Horse Heaven is a fine piece of writing. I've re-read numerous times....and as a matter of fact....I think I will re-read this weekend.
I will do a JRT ownership pro and con list...that will be very fun! Good idea.

Her face is so cute! I love animals that cuddle. Both Tails and Trixie love to snuggle with me!
Oh, she is a cutey! My Jack is mischieveous (oh my, I can't spell)! She's a little stinker but is always good for a cuddle.
